Go viral with March Madness

Earlier, we explain how to use the power of the lottery to make your site, products and content go viral. This article will explain another way to make your content go viral by using one of the most popular tournaments in the country.

This tournament is known as the men's basketball at NCAA Division 1 or "March Madness." March Madness starts in late February and into early March. The Department uses a style setting that allows fans of the game the better guesses at how the bracket will play out.

This is what you'll want to do: about a week before the start of the tournament, after which team will play in a tournament, a tournament bracket. Offering a huge prize if anyone gets full right bracket. Huge prize is $ 1 million or so. Some say that again, you're not getting $ 1 million to the person who gets this decade, given $ 1 million to someone if they get everything right.

What are the odds of that?

Prospects one on every single game is 2 ^ 62 = 4.6 x 10 ^ 18.

That means 2.9 with 18 zeros after it. In other words, no one will ever get a full arc. Just to make sure, you can get your insured prize. In this way, if someone does when will have to declare bankruptcy. Because the probability is very low, you can get this CFL for less than $ 100. This is a very reasonable way to get people involved with your website.

This especially works well with specialized sports site, however, the thrill and the router is around the Arch of the appeals to a large audience and work with other ports as well.

You can also go the traditional route and give a prize to the top output tray. This is not as exciting as a $ 1 million prize, however, may be more useful to go this route depending on your niche. Offer them a free service or product. Maybe your favorite college team jacket, for example. This varies regardless of what happens, I intend to give him the ultimate prize. The good news it will have zero result or award does not have to come out very large prize to someone.

Convening a Conference of Deans of madness people involved with big radio website for a very low cost. Win or lose, your audience will enjoy competing in this contest the arc you will enjoy great social outcomes because it.

If you use this method, make sure that you can encourage participants to participate in the tournament so that it has a chance to go viral is the goal at the end of the day.

How to download safely to mass YouTube pt 2

This will be part 2 of our "how to safely download cluster" series on YouTube. In the first part, we get an introduction to what will be covered. In this article, I will start diving into what should be done, not as you are preparing to download a large amount of videos on YouTube.

Agents

You can create your own channel 1 in the IP address of your home page. If you create any more channels, you will need to use a proxy server or an alternate IP address. Ideally, you should go to your local Starbucks or a fast food place, library and create your channel. This is easy, and will not cause any complications with the proxy on the road. If you use public wifi, try to do all your work there. We will discuss this later, but make sure you will be able to use the same IP address to create an account and upload your videos.

What do you mean by proxy?

YouTube has been known to ban certain groups of agents. HideMyAss.com, for example, is the popular proxy service will not work on YouTube because it is banned. You will be able to find agents that work on YouTube, but if you use them, you are in danger of losing your videos if they ever get banned in the future. Play safely, using the real IP addresses of WiFi if you can. If not, avoid popular proxy provider.

If you are using a proxy, use a proxy server, make sure that you use the same proxy every time log on to your account. At the very least, use a proxy server when you create accounts, but ideally, you should link your account forever.

Create an account

Now that we have our IP address, clear your cookies and it is time to create your account. When you create your second and third accounts, do not use any of the common words. Use a different name, a different style, a different channel etc. .. This will prevent anyone from being able to easily find all your channels, but more importantly, if you take one down, others remain safe.

Verify phone

Go to pinger.com and get a free number which you can use when you need to verify your account. Check your account by phone will play a big role in keeping your account secure. If you can, try to match the area code with your proxy site. When you subscribe to pinger.com, you can enter information. Provide accurate information, it is not necessary to use the service.

Put numbers on YouTube to check your account by phone number Pinger.

Account setup

Now that your account is setup, you will need to add some features to it. Sign in and start changing things around. Far as you get from the default settings. Add avatar, cool looking background, change the template settings and profile your channel. The goal here is to show you that counts block created but instead on natural and legitimate account.

Now we have set up an account with us. In part 3, we're going to talk about how to bring YouTube to your account active and valuable.

Viral video image simulation

Recently, has made YouTube a boost in their ranking algorithms for videos that contain profile natural backlink. In the past, like the getaway just by focusing on the number of views, creasing, comments and contributions. Now, however, you will have to pay attention to the rate you are sending views, likes, comments and contributions.
There are two things that you will need to do for video files successfully rank for competitive keywords. This is what we will discuss in this article below.
Simulates the effect of viral
View normal, back link profile for video is very different from one site. Video go viral much more often and the bagasse is much faster than with the Web site. On YouTube and Google, view looking natural and relink profile is one that seems to have gone viral. To mimic the viral effect, you will have to send a lot of views and back links, likes, comments and actions to the amount of time your video channel.
Drip feed format
You can also create a viral strategy, you will also have to time everything so that everything happens at the same rate. What we mean by that is to make sure the back links are created at the same time sent views, likes are sent at the same time video preference filtering, etc. ..
This is a problem because most video services don't give you this flexibility. Usually, if you buy a 5000 views, 20 likes, you can send the times during the first day, while the opinions flowed in during the remainder of the week. This makes it difficult to mimic true viral profile of your video.
Don't panic, we have the solution for you. Before we begin, I want to make it clear that we are not suggesting that Vagex.com is the best place to get used. There are many problems with the site, however, one of the benefits of its own interface flexibility Bagge.
By beji, you can add and modify views, likes, comments, subscriptions, Favorites, in real time. We're going to tell you how to do this, but keep in mind that this will be a very tedious process.
I want to do is enter a video in rotation times "x". This depends on how many views you want to send the video. If you want to send 1000, once is enough. Want to send thousands of views, you must add the video several times. This will allow the video to get a large amount of this in a short period of time.

As you do, you also need to add a small amount of likes, comments and contributions on your video. Will have them all at once. Add a few every day and continue to collect your views. This will allow you to naturally spread comments likes and subscribers as they would normally appear.
When you send a video views, aims to keep rising. This means sending the views will be watching the video of 50%-100%. 30 Baggie per second feature of credit will allow us to do this easily. Make sure that you display rate of marriage. If you have to send a two-minute video, an equal amount of 30 second, 60 seconds, and the second 90 views.
Last but not least, create back links to your videos at the same time that you send used. This is what you want to see when it comes to ranking in Google search engine.
The following steps will ensure that you will be able to rank for competitive keywords in search engines, YouTube and Google.

Yahoo Calls Teleworkers Back to the Office, but Opportunity Lies in How Employees are Led, Not Where they Work

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Yahoo’s CEO sparked a firestorm of debate with her recent decision to call teleworkers back to the office. But in order for the company’s move to succeed, she may need to focus as much on how these workers are being led as where they are located.

“Marissa Mayer made what she believes to be the best choice for her company to create the dramatic performance changes they need,” says Mark Murphy, CEO of Leadership IQ. “But her move in no way represents a mass change for the many companies that will continue to build and thrive with telecommuting workers and often long-distance separation of leaders and employees.”

In fact, we’ve seen a steadily increasing demand for strategy and management advice around how to manage remote workforces. Advanced technology is leveling the field, allowing more companies than ever to operate in the global economy. Management concerns around managing remote employees remain a top worry for leaders worldwide.

“Employees want leadership,” says Murphy. In a Leadership IQ study of co-located and remote employees, 66% of employees studied said they have too little interaction with the boss. And it’s not just positive feedback or praise they’re looking for. Because while 67% of employees studied said they don’t get enough positive feedback, 51% said it’s actually more constructive criticism that they want.

Whether employees are in the office down the hall, across town or halfway around the world, there are three key issues managers must focus on to effectively manage a remote workforce: connection, alignment and accountability.

Connection: There are relationships and bonds managers must make with their employees. This is more difficult in remote environments. The best remote leaders are true company evangelists. They need to be pro-company kind of people if they want evangelism to spread across a phone line, video conference or email.

Alignment: It’s up to managers to ensure everybody is reading off the same page; that they’re focusing on the right things. The strength and clarity of message naturally degrades when employees are located at a distance from their leaders. Remote managers must increase the frequency and focus of their communication so employees know exactly what they’re intending and can respond.

Accountability: This is one of the biggest challenges in face-to-face environments. It is exacerbated in remote situations. Managers must balance the obvious autonomy that comes from working remotely with the need for transparency to achieve significant accountability with remote workers.

“We have to remember, Yahoo was one of the leaders in deploying technology and allowing workers to telecommute,” says Murphy. “Bringing those employees back to the office is a decision more indicative of the drive for fresh innovation and performance than a harbinger of a new workforce trend. CEOs must assess specifically what their organization needs to deliver results and ensure their managers are equipped to lead effectively.”

How to type faster

In order to be able to support yourself full-time writing articles, you will have to get to the point where you can write almost 2 articles per hour. You will always be able to find materials for writing, even if you can always create 2 per hour, which is equivalent to a $ 10/hour. When you start bringing in higher-paid work, you can increase this rate even higher. It is not uncommon for a person to earn $ 15, $ 20 or more for each hour worked as a freelance writer with only a few months of experience. The key is speed, but you have to keep your writing high quality or else you will not be able to proceed to higher paid jobs.

Create an outline

The best way to write speeds the pace to break the article into sections. Outline of yourself so that you can refer to it as fast as you can type. This eliminates the need to stop and search after each paragraph. The outline below is an example:

Introduction

Main idea 1

Intro/go to main idea 1

What is this?

How does it work?

Why important?

Conclusion the main idea 1

Main idea 2

..

..

Main idea 3

..

..

Conclusion

~ fin ~

That's all. Keep it simple.

Research

Do all the research in the beginning when you create the outline, write comments for each title. Objective 3-4 notes. This gives you a sense of introduction, 3-5 body sentences and sentience conclusion within each paragraph. You can also type all sentience based off your notes, the idea in your own words. This allows you to write faster, it looks more natural than just reformat it. Spend 5 minutes research and create the outline.

Don't stop

Type the body of the article first. Keep writing. Don't stop. Do not edit. I don't think. Each thought when you made your outline. Ever stop doing any of these things, it slows down you. You will be able to correct your mistakes much faster if you do it in one sweep. 5 minutes in the search as well as your typing speed puts us in about 15-20 minutes per article.

Introduction and conclusion

After that, it's time to write your introduction. "I didn't think to do this first?" type provided that you know what you wrote about. To state the obvious, much easier to view article and topics to you after you've written them. Then, write your conclusion. In conclusion, you will only need to summarize the article, highlight some important points, and if possible, include your call to action. Try to touch on at least one point of each paragraph, and you can write your conclusion.

Check

We are now 20-25 minutes in and it's time to edit. Read the article aloud to yourself. If you write multiple articles, it would be a good idea to start the article and then go back and edit the first post. Time away from article will treat some of "blindness grammar" can we get sometimes. If you don't do it, that's fine.

Add a title, the format of the article and you are done. 30 minutes, is half way to a decent wage.

Cannot write any quick, slow as I type!

Occur ...

If you type slow, you can try to handwriting recognition program. Most people use "Dragon Naturally Speaking". Buy a decent microphone, set up the program and you're ready to go.

* Note: USB microphones tend to work on more than one line at the microphones.

You are supposed to be able to talk of the type 2 times faster than typing. Only downside is the edits. It does fairly well, but you will have to spend more time in the editing process.

Client Interview: How Veterinary Clinics are Hiring for Attitude

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

We recently spoke to certified Hiring for Attitude professional Elise Lacher of Strategic Veterinary Consulting, Inc. to catch up on how she’s using her Hiring For Attitude certification to help support her work with business owners and practice managers at veterinary clinics.

Q: Hi Elise, thanks for making the time to chat. You’ve been on the road for 6 weeks. How has Hiring for Attitude played into your schedule?

Elise: I just came from a workshop that was built around building systems for small business owners to increase profitability. One hot topic was whether you should hire for attitude or aptitude. As I listened to the discourse I found it  interesting that even with all the smart people in the room, most people were strongly siding with one position or another. I finally said, “Why not hire for both?” And then, of course, went on to explain that while skills are important, even the greatest skills set in the world is not going to result in a successful hire if the person has the wrong attitude for the company culture.

Q: How is Hiring for Attitude helping your clients?

Elise: Right now there are a lot of veterinarians looking for positions. Two or three years ago it took six months to a year to fill an open position, but today there’s an overload of unsolicited applications being sent. And many of my clients, whether they’re the business owner or the practice manager, really struggle to find the right person for the job; someone that really fits the culture of the practice. Being able to tell my clients, “These are your Brown Shorts” (the key attitudes that define an organization’s culture) and then to help them build a hiring process around those Brown Shorts, including how the job ad gets written, has worked miracles. My clients get the Great Fit people they need and it makes my time more efficient.

Q: What’s the feedback like when you tell a client, “These are your Brown Shorts”?

Elise: A lot of veterinary business owners and practice managers have never stopped to consider what makes their practice unique; different from all the other practices out there. For many of my clients, this is the first time they’re able to say, “These are the attitudinal hallmarks that define my high and low performers.”

Q: Rewriting job ads that recruit for attitude is a really fun and effective part of the Hiring for Attitude process. What have been your experiences with Brown Shorts job ads?

Elise: The Brown Shorts ads work exceptionally well. For one thing, too many practices use the same language in their hiring ads. You see over and over the same things written like: “practice quality medicine” or “deliver great customer service.”  It’s the same exact thing the practice down the road is saying. But when we work the Brown Shorts into the ad, when we tell people what it really looks like inside that clinic, then that really makes a difference.

For example, some clinics are very high volume. Great customer service in this environment looks very different than great customer service in a high touch, low-volume clinic. Both clinics want to hire people who give great customer service, but they need to know what that really means. For too many of them, they’ve attended some lecture where they heard, “Great customer service means you look the customer in the eye and chit chat with them about their kids and get them comfortable.” But you don’t want that kind of customer service in a high-volume clinic where you want to get customers into the exam room fast but without making them feel rushed or slighted. You can’t just recruit for “great customer service” and expect to find the right candidates. You have to recruit for what you are really looking for. And that comes down to attitude.

That’s why the Brown Shorts job ads make a difference.  It’s a critical part of putting the whole Hiring for Attitude system together. You can’t just write: “High quality medicine practice looking for experienced technician that loves animals.”  If you’re on the receiving end of that ad, you’re going to get overloaded with applications, and most of them won’t even be from people seeking tech jobs.  You’ll also get a few hundred applications from associates or receptionists.  And no one has time for that.  You want to quickly narrow it down to the Great Fit candidates who have the right attitudes and the right skills.  And that’s exactly what Brown Shorts jobs ads let you do.

If your team or organization struggles to find candidates you feel confident hiring and promoting or if too many of your recent hires just don’t seem to be working out, Hiring for Attitude Training and Certification is for you. Call 1-800-814-7859 or email info@leadershipiq.com today.

How Can Managers Maximize their Middle Performers?

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

A Q&A with Leadership IQ CEO Mark Murphy

Q: How can managers maximize their middle performers?

MM: First I want to dispel one giant misunderstanding about what maximizing middle performers really means. Because too often when I talk on this topic, managers push back and say, “I don’t want to mess with my middle performers. If we have too many superstars the organization won’t be able to handle it.”

Here’s the thing, performance has two dimensions: skills and attitude. A high performer is somebody who has great skills and great attitude. High Performers are your go-to employees; the folks who can go all day long and carry the ball over the goal line (pick your cliché). At the other end of the spectrum are low performers. And low performers can present in a few different ways. Some low performers have poor skills and a lousy attitude while others have great skills and a lousy attitude and still other low performers have a great attitude, but they lack in the skills department.

And then there are the middle performers, and these employees are a notch down from your high performers; they have good skills and adequate attitude. And when we talk about maximizing middle performers, we’re not talking about turning good, solid employees into prima donnas with fantastic skills. That would be going in the reverse: turning middle performers into low performers with great skills and a lousy attitude. What we are talking about is accentuating all the positive things middle performers already do (from both a skills and an attitude point of view) and building on that. We want to help our middle performers unleash and maximize their full potential. And that may put them into the high performing category, or it may just move them slightly along in the middle performing territory, or it may just make them more fulfilled in the middle performing territory. But at no point are we ever suggesting that we’re going to take a middle performer who’s got good skills and good attitude and turn them into a low performer who’s got great skills and a lousy attitude.

Q: Given all that, what is the key to maximizing middle performers?

MM: Managers must know how to diagnose effectively what kind of middle performer they have. For example: is this somebody who doesn’t have the confidence in themselves to reach higher potential? Or is this person lacking the directives they need? Or does this person see the cost of being a high performer as a price that’s too high to pay?  Those are just three of the types of middle performers you may be dealing with.

Once you diagnose your middle performers and you understand why they’re not maximizing their own potential, it becomes fairly easy to get them to that next level. So the challenge is in really understanding what kind of middle performer you’re dealing with. And you can’t look at 70% or 80% of your workforce and think they’re an amorphous mass; that all your middle performers are exactly the same. They’re not all the same. They are all very different from each other.

The first thing is to have a conversation with middle performers. Leadership IQ teaches a five-step conversation that will be part of our live webinar Turning Middle Performers Into Stars. Basically, it’s a pretty casual one-on-one meeting that starts by letting middle performers know they’re doing a good job, but that we think they have more potential. We want this to be a conversation our middle performers are comfortable having so they remain open to hearing our feedback.

Next step is to move into some questions that assess what kind of middle performer this is. For example, if you want to learn if this is a middle performer who lacks the confidence to reach higher potential, you might ask, “I just told you I see untapped potential in you. Do you agree with me on that? Do you see that same potential in yourself?”  If the employee says, “Yes, I do” then okay, great, we can assess that it is something other than confidence holding this person back and we move on and probe to find out what that is. And if they say “No,” we want to immediately ask, “Do you mind if I ask you why? Can you tell me more about that? Can you help me understand a little bit, what do you see, what don’t you see? What are the issues?”

The goal of this conversation is to help middle performers flesh things out and discover why they don’t see the same potential in themselves. It might be due to life history in which case you might hear, “I was never a high performer in anything.” Or it could be environmental where you hear, “I just don’t feel comfortable that I’m at the same level as our high performers. They seem to have so many more skills and degrees than I have.” These are two pretty common answers managers hear, but you may hear something radically different. You’ve got to get them talking and these are the kinds of questions that will help you do that.
